"The room we were staying in was falling apart with water damage. The ceiling was literally falling off. The first night water was dripping all night and we alerted the property. "There were some ants in the room.
The bed was well passed needing to be replaced.
There was some long strands of hair on the bedspread.
The sink would not drain as the stopper was broken. Maintenance came by quickly and said the owner wants all stoppers removed. The fix was to remove the stopper. If a ring slips off your finger then you are out of luck.
The flooring in the bathroom had cracks and missing chunks.
There were mirrors everywhere - if you like that then I suppose its okay.

"When booking at Basecamp South, the stress is on camp. The facility enjoys a great location within easy walking distance of downtown, restaurants, etc. Rooms are basic. Few outlooks, which are mostly filled by room amenities. If you want to watch TV, make sure you bring your own streaming services. Parking is both limited and risky. Within the facility there is no where to turn around. Parking on the street is a better option if you can find a space."

"This is a nice property with a private beach on the lake so the location is unbeatable but we would have appreciated if the rooms were a little bit updated with a modern feel and conveniences, especially the bathrooms.
