We were wowed by Aeris the first time we stayed there a few years ago. Everything seemed new, spotless and comfortable. This time, although it was still a comfortable stay, we noticed our room looked more aged. The room we stayed in had a carpet with stains and windows that needed thorough cleaning on the outside. The elevators are also small and slow, but that has been our experience in most of Taiwan. Other than the things noted above, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The soundproofing between rooms was actually great - we couldn't hear any of our neighbours. The curtains blocked out the heat and light for a restful sleep. The staff were helpful and friendly, the lobby was nicely decorated and they even put up a Christmas tree and other decorations in December. The breakfast buffet had a medium variety of options that was mostly the same with some items on a day to day rotation. Their cutlery was clean and servers are quick to whisk away your dishes once you were done with them. We love staying here whenever we are in the area.

It was a bad accommodation experience.

I have stayed in many hotels, including those with a hundred-year history in Europe, but none felt as old as this one. Additionally, there was only a breakfast restaurant available. The other two small restaurants next to the lobby were not open during my entire 8-day stay. Moreover, there were no restaurants nearby, which is very inconvenient for business travelers who need dinner. It was a bad accommodation experience.

The location of the hotel is nice, and the staff are helpful. The restaurant is not open often and we had some difficulties with the TV and the hot water heater. The worst thing is the parking garage. The spaces on B3 are tiny and almost impossible to get into without the help of someone outside directing the car so that you can get into the space with the spare centimeter to spare between your tires and the metal ridge.
