We arrived with a warm welcome from the front counter staff. We are staying at room 703, the room is spacious and clean. Love the big shower room. It just needs a clear sign at the front as we walked past it. Surrounded by lots of yummy local foods.

We were at the hotel for one night and City Place Hotel in Tainan did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and very modern. It was also super helpful to have English speaking staff and concierge service. Staff was very helpful and we were able to leave our baggage for the day after checkout for no extra fee.

The room was clean, the bed soft and comfortable, and staff was very nice. The hotel has a very central location. If you come by Local Train, be warned that the sidewalks here are not that suitable for heavier suitcases and walking on the side of the road instead will save you a lot of hassle.

Staff was very courteous and the luggage storage service was convenient for us who arrived in the city earlier than check-in time. Room was very clean but quite small. Beds were comfy but the pillows offer zero support (they go flat once you lay on them). Location was very convenient with lots of food options available!
