The hotel had a lot of charm and surprises with a great view of the Da'an Park. Breakfasts were delicious with so many great choices. Tea-time snacks and evenings with fruit and treats were a pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a variety of things including navigating and finding places to go.

Love the Rido! The location is superb and extremely close to Daan Park MRT. Make sure you ger a room overlooking the park as the view is gorgeous. Only slight negative is breakfast. Not nearly enough variety though downstairs dining room has been nicely modernized Too bad really as everything else about our stay was 10/10. So much so that we're going back next week!

We were in Taipei for a concert and arrived at the hotel a bit early to drop off our luggage. The young lady at the reception,Linda, was very sweet and courteous. Some might say the hotel is outdated but personally, it reminds me a lot of the European boutique hotels. The room was clean and the bathtub was a bonus. Will definitely come back and stay at this hotel again.
