Taipei vacation

We had a nice time in Taipei. Hotel location is great. a block away from Ximending. The bus stop is conveniently across the hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel with good service

This is one of my favorite hotel to stay in Ximending area whenever I'm in Taipei. Right beside XMD, it's a convenient location to be. Service is excellent as always. I gave a 4-star as there were some inconveniences experienced by my mom but they were resolved by staff swiftly. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel as first choice.

A nice and functional hotel at a convenient location. A short walk to two subway (MRT) stations and a major shopping area. Staff is nice and polite. The building itself is relatively old, but the room is clean and comfortable. No breakfast served, but there is a Mos Buger next door, where you can buy a breakfast for NT70. Recommended if you can find a good price.

It was really very cold in the room so it will be good if we can adjust in the room instead. Housekeeping need to be improved as we found stains immediately on the bedsheet when we just checked in.

The location of thr hotel is really good as it is near many eating places, 2mins walk to a NETs and walkable to mtetro station. however cleanliness needed to be improve and the facilties are old. Not so good not so bad

As is typical for hotels in this price range, there is no heating system, so it can feel quite cold in the winter. Additionally, during late-night hours, you may need to wait quite a while to get hot water. The soundproofing is poor, so you can hear noises from outside, as well as from neighboring or upstairs rooms, quite clearly. Personally, I didn’t mind because I came back around 4 or 5 a.m. and went straight to sleep. However, I wouldn’t recommend this place for light sleepers. The staff did their best to assist within their capacity, but it wasn’t enough to resolve all the inconveniences. It also seems like housekeeping only involves vacuuming the floor, emptying the trash, and tidying up the bedding. I couldn’t find evidence of cleaning in other areas. That being said, the location is very convenient, so I might still consider it as a viable option.

Location is very good. Nothing to complain about the hotel itself - its modern, bed, linen and towels are clean and puffy. The Cons: A comforter for Winter. It was just too thick and heavy for the June weather, too hot under the duvet, too cold without it. The Hotel is great - however the staff has got to be trained to greet, communicate and learn world-standard customer service. - A smile does not cost a thing but delivers great value to the receiver. - You have to make NTD deposit to borrow a cheap, child-size umbrella! - During check out, I said i'd want to check out, the stuck-up front desk lady replied, "are you leaving your baggage?" , thinking she misheard it, I repeated, "Oh, i'm checking out", she followed with a demeaning face; "i know you are checking out, are you leaving your baggage?" . That was not just an expedited communication , its also a rude response.
