"This hotel was quite excellent especially for my family of four! Everything was nice and clean for us to use, comfortable to sleep on, and great for us to rest as we explored Japan. All the nearby shops and restuarants were just as amazing and the staff were very polite. Honestly one of the best hotels we've stayed in and we thank the Marumi Hotel for what they gave us."

"Well positioned in Asakusa district, although somewhat far from the train station, this accommodation provides as advertised. Comfortable beds, decent living space, it is rather a dine and sleep apartment than a day time relaxing space, but amenities and practicality are good. Check-in process was a bit lengthy (lots of ID details to put online and selfies for each guest), but I suppose this is due to local/national regulations. Hosts max three adults in my view (with one sleeping on futons), or...

"We got to the property in the middle of the night because of a delayed flight and when we got here, the floor was wet and the rug was soaked because of a leak from the ac unit. Because it was the midnight already, we had no choice but to remove the rug and wipe the floor. we used the garbage bins to catch the leaking from the ac unit. we can't turn off the ac bec the heat in tokyo was through the roof- it was the middle of a heat wave. we informed the host and was told that they will repair it...

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."
