"I tried to cancel this stay after a close friend's death. I reached out to you to try to retrieve my money or to at least get a credit so I could visit Portugal and stay at the Villa Marquez a week or so later. You responded that you had tried to reach them but they refused. I do not understand why you are now asking me for my review of the stay. You are already informed that I was unable to visit. You are also informed that I wished to postpone my stay at the Villa Marquez. You are informed...

"Nuit agréable nous avons pu rejoindre l’hôtel à pied de l’aéroport (environ 15min). Tout est propre et fonctionnel !"

"Excellent central location. The rooms were furnished to a high standard and very clean, our room was tidied and towels provided as needed on a daily basis. The kitchen facilities upstairs were well equipped with induction hob and microwave. The rooftop area was a nice place to sit out. "

"Great hostel, good Central location. 5 minutes walk into the city centre, 2 minutes walk from the nearest bars and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable bed and good communication from the host throughout our stay. If I'm nit picking the only very slight drawback was, the bedroom curtains, weren't full blackout (I'm a very light sleeper) but this was a very small thing, and it probably won't affect most people. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Recommended. "

"The property is not as presented. The house I stayed in was utilitarian at best. There were no amenities and the pool is off property. That being said, there was hot water and the bed was comfortable. When I checked in the host said “It’s not the Sheraton” and I agree. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. "
