Downside - I booked as it was advertised as budget but there are all the hidden extras. Breakfast was extra at £8.50 each and was only a two types of cold pastries, limited cereal, toast and a couple of toppings. Not worth £8.50. No kettles or tea/coffee in rooms - that you had to pay for but the hot water downstairs was complimentary which you had to carry upstairs if you...

"I had visited Sheffield for an exam. .Staying at Premier Inn Sheffield was a wonderful choice. I would definitely stay again!"

"The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful. The only issue we had was with the road construction in the traffic diversion trying to find the hotel after we could see it for about three different times going by."

"We were allocated a room for a disabled person even though neither of us are disabled or had requested it. However we did appreciate the wet room rather than a bath with shower over. But, and a big but for any traveller, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries, razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes etc etc. All the things that are needed within reach of the sink. We ended up dragging the chair in the shower to the sink in order to have our toilet bags close without them...

"The staff were particularly helpful. They were out of welcome cookies but told us to make sure to call back for them. Our request for a quieter room was accommodated. The room was immaculate, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both bath and shower. Faultless."

"We were given a room upgrade which was nice however that room turned out to be extremely noisy. It was a bank holiday so understandable during the afternoon and night time but the music went on until 2am. There was also an issue with the bath, the plug was stuck so we could not drain the water. The parking situation is a bit strange and rather pricey too."

"The room was spotlessly clean but bathroom could do with a little updating. Staff within hotel area and public area were fantastic. Nothing too much trouble and the general manager is an asset to the company."
