I was able to leave my cases before checking time at no extra charge. Very friendly and helpful staff, easy access to building and room. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is (I’d have given it 4.5 if possible) is: (1) The microwave in our property was out of order (the host knew - it had a sticker on It saying so) and we were not told before we arrived, which was a bit annoying. They subsequently offered to move us to another but it was the evening by then, we were tired and only staying one night. Surely it would have been better to put us in a property with a working...

"The check in system was not working and the there was no desk help since they leave at 5. The scanner was down so we had manually enter all the info which was a lot but it malfunctioning and keep starting over. the elevator was not working so we had to carry all the luggage upstairs. The pool was dirty and full bugs and hair. and the room keys didn’t unlock the main entrance door when coming and going so we got stuck for a while until we realized that they send a separate code upon check in...

"The hotel is well-situated for the big Galleries, the Retiro Park, and the Botanic Gardens. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the locality. I had one meal in the hotel restaurant: it was very nicely served. I did not breakfast in the hotel, I prefer to go out and find a bar or cafe. The room was clean and comfortable; I had a balcony looking out east over the trees of the Botanic Garden. The reception staff were friendly and helpful."
