"Room was dirty. Some one else's eye lash cluster on the floor. Dirt and dead bugs laying round in corners. Coffee pot didnt have the tray to make coffee. Pillows awful. Breakfast staff id give 5 stars"

"We love the location and have stayed many times, however, we were a bit disappointed in our stay this time. It took 1/2 hour to check in; apparently due to a new program? The hallway to our room was about 60 degrees and breakfast coffee didn’t have any flavored creamer options."

"Location is great! Just a couple of blocks from Temple Square. Tons of restaurants nearby, but most are pricey. Room wasn't the biggest but it was nice. The hotel could use a little TLC. The floor we were on had peeling wallpaper and baseboards. The biggest knock about this place is the parking. You can park yourself for $35 per night, or valet for $45. Made the mistake of grabbing a coffee on my way out from the Market downstairs. $5 for a self-serve paper cup. Next time I'll skip that and head...

"Esther was fabulous. I likes the ski posters highlighting the father and probably uncles of the owner and their accomplishments. I loved the rooms. The washer/dryer in one frustrated me. I should have googled directions. I appreciated having them available for use. I loved the excellent ingredients used in the food. I liked so many available snacks. I loved the interaction I had with Esther. But for the most part she gave us our privacy and I appreciated that."

"This is a classic hotel. The rooms are huge. They are well appointed and the common spaces are grand."

"Room was clean; breakfast was average; We had to request that our room be serviced, and it wasn't (so we just requested clean towels). Good location for walking to tourist areas in downtown SLC; parking garage was a nice plus."

"The afternoon (check-in) desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was reasonably clean but ... zero amenities--no coffee pot, no hair dryer, no ... nothing you would expect even in a low-budget place. The place was listed as offering breakfast, but it does not. It has coffee and grab and go pastry. That's it. I asked for a room right off the parking lot (they do have them) because of having a lot of heavy things to bring in, and they gave me a room on the second floor in the back...

"Located near food options and not too far from the hospital where my wife was having surgery. We were unaware the pool was out of order and had been for months, the shower head leaked and dripped constantly making sleeping difficult and the USB ports by the bed were both broken. Breakfast was so-so but the lobby coffee was good and the fitness room was decent."
