"Room appears old, probably time for a renovation. Our room had wrinkled wallpaper in the corner, probably from some kind of water issue. Our room was facing the Zeus site, which is a main street. Very noisy traffic. The breakfast was good and it is served on the rooftop, where there is a terrific view of the Acropolis. Used the restaurant for a dinner, but we were not impressed by the food. Hotel is in a good location, close to the subway, museum and Acropolis entrance."

"The room was clean. The rules were written out exactly for you. If you use the towel or requested an extra towel, there was an extra charge, extra charge for having the sheets changed earlier than three days. The closet situation was very poor, we finally requested a chair in our room as there was no chair to sit on. The staff was nice and helpful. The rules got to us. Would I stay there again, no. There also was no breakfast included and instant coffee in our room."

"We loved staying here. The room had a little balcony and was full of old world charm. It had a little kitchen area with a microwave, espresso machine, fridg, sink and a hot water pot with dishes and silverware. The location in Plaka was the best! The manager kept in contact and was very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for somewhere modern with lots of amenities, this is not for you. If you are looking to stay in a very a charming and safe area that is convenient to cafes, restaurants...

"I travel as much as possible and this is absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant is incredible and the food is delicious. The staff goes above and beyond for their guests. We checked out at 3:30am and they provided us with a boxed breakfast /lunch for us. The hotel is built on ruins so don’t forget to go down to the spa and check it out. This hotel is a must if you are traveling to Athens."

"Clean small apartment as the photos look. Easy access and felt secure with key codes, locks etc. Nice and quiet too. Only negative I guess would be the beds are slightly hard. Otherwise good :)"

"Welcomed by a wonderful receptionist (malania)…very helpful and we were able to check in 1 hr early.. the hotel is completely remodeled and feels new..the courtyard was great for eating lunch and having a glass of wine to relax… walking to the acropolis museum was minutes away along with tons of rest and of course the acropolis!… we booked through Expedia but wanted to stay another day and Malania helped us book directly with her for the extra day and it went seamlessly!.. we would recommend...
