"Very clean rooms"

"I walked in my room to find an employee in my room most likely he was with maintenance. His response was he didn’t know anyone was staying in the room. I walked to the front desk she also confirmed that the system didnt have anyone staying in the room which I explain I checked in the day before. It was quickly rectified and I went back to the room which he finished up ! The cover on the A/C fell off as I went to turn down the temperature on it ! The patio doors had dirt and other debris around...

"The room had mold on the walls and smelled moldy. Other guests also complained of the musty smell. Staff was very friendly. We paid $300 a night for a room and this should have been more of $100 night room due to quality."

"This property was sub par starting with the air conditioning in the rooms wasn’t working well. The shower got stuck in the hottest position and would not shut off until we called front desk - and they called maintenance. The bathroom flooded. Children were sitting at the swim up bar as well as adults were sitting on the swim up pool bar - very unsanitary. After all of these issues - the manager said he would be giving me a 25% discount for all of these issues. I mentioned I paid through...

"The mananger at the front desk was incredibly kind and friendly. Unfortunately the property could use some TLC. Honestly, I’m not sure how it got such high reviews—maybe low expectations since it’s a red roof? I chose it over the brand I typically go to since their reviews for the Galveston location were much lower. It was OK to sleep here for one night before a cruise, close to the beach, but the photos were deceiving and I would have been disappointed if I were vacationing here. The rooms look...
