"Overall was a good stay for the 1 night. Needed a place close to hotel to crash while we awaiting other guest. Gym was small but functional. You can get a good dumbbell focused workout in. Pool was nice and well maintained. Didn't eat on property but seemed like limited options. Buffet did not look good. Close to main road which has a ton of options that as also open late. Overall it's a good value and was easy to get on shuttle back"

"This hotel is very good. Clean rooms, Beautiful breakfast. Private pool access (I had the room with pool access). The main pool, which is near the sea, is big and convenient. The beach is wonderful. The sea was a bit wavy, but I think when there is no wind, it has to be amazing!. The personnel are very polite. Everybody says "Hello" and sends a beautiful smile. Wonderful place for a quiet vacation."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
