Hotel dekat The Book Barn

"Exceeded our expectations. Our room was facing the Marina and the sound. It was bright and so welcoming and comfortable. The staff was gracious and helpful. A delicious breakfast was included as well as wine and cheese in the afternoon. We took advantage of the complimentary pontoon ride down the Niantic river which was wonderful. The location was great for wandering to Mystic and even into Rhode Island which we did . We would like to return some day!"

"Very comfortable, extremely clean. William was friendly and helpful."

"This is a clean and comfortable room. The service is exelent upfront and the chambermaid deserves a gratuity."

"Thank you."

"Angelo, the in house chef was amazing, If Ilived locally I would go there just for the breakfast creations. Front desk staff was also terrific"

"Our room was beautiful and unique. Balcony with a water view. The pools were heated perfectly. The patio pool was perfect, we ven on a 60 degree day"

"The tv didn’t work and there was no hot water in the room , in the shower or the sink."

"Room was dirty, staff did there best to accommodate. The air filter in a.c. was so dirty room was hot due to that.microwave filthy, fridge, floors, if you want clean this would not be a good location for you. Did enjoy seeing boats in harbor. For the price I paid, 134.00 a dump."

"Lovely place, sadly we only booked one night and arrived after dark , so didn't really have chance to use all the amenities, kayak's etc . The cabin we stayed in was lovely , and great communication from the staff ( Deb ) and recommendations for coffee & breakfast the following morning . Would stay again if in the area ."

"Lovely hotel, beautifully maintained. Rooms were clean and spacious and staff was very nice. Beds were also super comfortable. Only downside is the construction - you could hear people in the next room and a baby crying in the middle of the night."

"Nice place to stay."

"Unfortunately, the shower did not have hot water. The TV was way too far from the bed and was very small - of no use; Minimal items....a bit pathetic. The room had a kitchen - which was not requested. The price was too high, given the poor appearance and lack of essential hot water at 7:00 a.m. in the morning!"
