"From the photos on Expedia we were excited for our stay at the Inn. Upon our arrival, there was no parking where we had been instructed to park and only street parking was available. "I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. "Pleasantly surprised that a full cook-to-order breakfast was included in the cost of the room. (Was not mentioned on the website that I found). Walkability to downtown was a huge plus! Enjoyed our stay!"

"They had a crows nest type deck to sit and enjoy the water which was great. We went in March so still chilly. We will opt for 2nd or 3rd floor next time. They had wine and cheese at 4pm and continental breakfast at 8 am-ish. Flies made cheese and crackers part unappealing and it was not even available first night. Continental breakfast was ehhhh. Most options were past sell date. Mike greated us when we got there and showed us around. Super nice. Would have liked to have a list of restaurants...

"Comfortable, clean, and convenient location in downtown Statesville. We were in town for the Carolina Balloonfest and to visit some local wineries, so the location was great. Other guests were there for the Carolina Renaissance Festival which is just 30 miles south. Cheryl and Jason are warm people and pleasant hosts. The inn itself is historic and furnished accordingly. The breakfast is continental, which might be a concern for some potential guests but was not for us. We will definitely stay...
