They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive. I requested early check in and that was not allowed at the time of arrival, but they were able to accommodate me by storing my bags so even though I was disappointed, I was not completely hung out to dry. The rooms are in ok shape, they keep them clean but the wear and tear is notable. Overall worth the cost and I got what I paid for. Staff was very helpful. AC was cold, parking situation was simple, no elevator, room was very clean."

"This is an older property, so if you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It is clean, has working a/c, shower, TV , microwave, coffee maker and a bed. It has a beautiful pool area, although we did not use it. We just need a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. We stayed her last year as well, for Follow the Arrow Festival. Ther is a great restaurant next door."

This issue is that the Beekman Arms has multiple properties so one needs to be careful when booking a room. "It's all great, as far as i'm concerned, but one has to know in advance what sort of place it is. It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. (which their website makes clear.) i loved it, It's in the heart of the village. You'll want to walk to everything, which I enjoyed.
