"We (2) stayed in The Room 407 for 3 nights. I liked the kitchenette. The building is old and you can smell that in the ambience. The floor of the room was kind of sticky and I didn’t feel safe walking barefoot. I wish they supply more towels and kitchen supplies locally I brought my own just in case. I will never stay in this hotel again. And the only reason is because of the old smell in the room"

"The hotel was nicely decorated and up to date. Check in staff friendly and quick. The beds were comfy with a nice choice of pillows to pick from. Breakfast was superb. I would definitely stay here again."

"The bed is very comfortable and clean. The air conditioner is amazing keeps it nice and chilly, and the curtains are so thick no light gets through, definitely a bonus does not wake me up. The only complaint I have is there the fan in the bathroom doesn’t work well it works, but it makes this really loud sound, and I wish there was more drawer space."

"Hotel is dated. I requested a different room because the floor was sticky all over and the furniture broken. Also no elevator. I almost walked out and went to another hotel. Also the toilet rocked back and forth. I had the hotel switch the office chair because the one I had would go down when I sat in it. The refrigerator made a scratching noise all night. "

"Definitely needs updating but it was fine for one night. We did not see any bed bugs which is important. We did not get to check in timely, along with multiple other guests, and therefore we were late getting to our concert missing half of it. I attempted to get a refund but have had no response from the hotel. We drove 4 hours to be here and had no other hotel options as the whole city was sold out. Very disappointing. "Pictures. 1. Homeless person passed out in parking lot. Not in the best of neighborhoods. Room smelled of urine. Holes in the bed cover. Overall, we didn't feel safe staying there, so I immediately checked out after seeing the room and the condition. I immediately called Expedia. Not helpful. Drove 150 miles back home."

"Hair had to be washed out of the tub before showering. Room floor needs to be washed. My feet were dirty after showering and walking across the room. At check-out desk attendant was sitting hunched over with hoodie up over her head scrolling on her phone not paying attention to a thing going on around her. Not a place I would stay again."

"The only good thing I can say about this motel, is the location was very convenient for my needs to commute to Churchill downs! The room was far from clean, almost every blanket and sheet had cigarette burn holes. The smell was absolutely awful! Staff were not easy to work with & offered no discount for trouble. My room was next door to a prostitute, first nights stay we were woken up by Louisville metro police knocking on her door. I could keep going, I guess you can say you get what you pay...
