"One of the better hotels we stayed on our trip to Iceland. However, didn't like their policy requiring to pay for early check in if you arrive a couple of hours early. Sometimes, tourists arrive in Keflavik early or mid morning, so they would want to check in a bit early and explore the city before leaving to the next destination the following day."

There is no shuttle as such a hotel staff drops one off at the airport in her personal car so again if there is lot of luggage one has a problem. For one night after dropping off the car and with an early morning flight it was good enough. I had no greater needs so it sufficed. But as a place to stay in Reykjavik it is not great. "This property was awful. It was very hard to find, and felt unsafe. It is essentially a garage building with the rooms on top of the garages. The garages were filled with trash and construction materials, and they were doing construction for hours late into the night while we were trying to sleep after a long travel day. There were also not enough towels for 3 people and the bathroom had no amenities like body soap or shampoo. If the room had wifi, there were no instructions on how to access it...

"Staff was lovely, when they had the time but there are only 2 at front desk so if there is a large group it is a long wait to ask questions. Breakfast was not as portrayed online although still plentiful. Amenities were outstanding and mind blowing if using the spa. Having parking was an incredible bonus. As was being within walking distance to many restaurants and grocery stores. Beds were very comfortable. My only complaint about the room was that the temp was set to 24C and when we asked the...

"Good stay close to the airport. Kind of outdated but for a one night stay fine. This would be the only tap water in Iceland I wouldn’t recommend drinking (we didn’t) as it had kind of a sulfur smell and idk if that’s because of the location and environment."

"I think property is just old so what you expect from old property that’s what you get. All amenities were in there, even if someone wants to do some cooking stuff was available like oil, some spices etc etc. Remember it is a cabin not a house."
