"What a weird a** place this is. This hotel does a great job straddling the line of being friendly and unhelpful. They act like they are nice but really they just want to be mean. The hotel itself is well appointed but the presentation is a bit pretentious. It's trying to be fancy but really it's just weird. It is not family friendly. We tried to have a coffee one day in the cafe but there was no server. Then we ran into some trouble with kids pool time as the TV stated the window was 9-noon...

"Very nice hotel, food very good but service at restaurants terrible. Impossible to get a coffee in less than 15 minutes and drinks at bar slow as well. Darren at the front desk was the exception- he was great."

"Absolutely gem, the superior room is super spacious with an incredibly comfy big bed, beautiful bedding with sumptuous linens, high-quality pillows and duvet. I’m always dubious when rooms are called soundproof but this really was. We were in the first floor and it was silent - a miracle in central London! "Great location with everything you needed. We stayed in the studio room which was plenty of room and clean. Only issue was the air con unit was difficult to turn off from the panel and soon realised there was a light switch by the bathroom (weird wiring) that turned it all off as the room was very cold to start with. Apart from this, it was perfect for a night’s stay. "
