"Our stay at Hotel Universal was pleasant and convenient. We were in from Calgary for the Canadian Championships for soccer and it was only a 1/2 block away. The staff were helpful and the restaurant was good food. I would recommend this hotel."

"The room was new with potential this is the only positive thing I can say Complaints: The room was not located within the hotel, but the next building with a few rooms and that building called the pavilion There was no bottled water nothing at all and no lighting in the kitchen nette The breakfast that was included only had white bread for a toast a couple of small sausage dried sausages with a little bit of scrambled eggs I did not eat there at all. "They showed me 3 dirty rooms, I came back to reception every-time to ask why are they giving me a used room. The staff was unavailable and I had to exit the hotel at 1:30 AM at night and get a refund. The excuse they have is they happens often and they are unable to assist!!"

"Fausse représentation: Pris la peine de vérifier la capacités de stationnement avant de réserver ce qui s'est avéré non fondé rendu sur place. Impossible de stationnement même au deuxième endroit proposé. Aucun accommodement, aucune compensation ce qui a rendu mon voyage très insécurisant. Il a fallu marché pour être capable de s'accomoder. Fenêtre de chambre très sale ainsi que l'arrière du réfrigérateur et lumières de salles de bain. De plus, la porte de garde-robe m'es tombé dessus...
