"Room was lovely, noisy neibours but was ok after midnight, some staff on check in was a bit snotty then the receptionist that actually ended up checking us in was lovely. Breakfast was nice but was dirty cutlery they got us clean ones there was no Nutella in the big press tubs but the rest of the food you couldn’t fault, all in all it was a decent stay "

"this trip was a homage to my mum’s death as I never got to take her as she died so suddenly The staff and breakfast were lovely evening meal was a bit basic but we had one evening meal there. We had a room with twin beds which was ok but we didn’t sleep well so left a day before we should have. Unfortunately because I booked through an agency they refused to refund me my money Always book directly it is so much cheaper "

"What makes this hotel is the staff from front desk to those dealing with the rooms. Everyone was professional courteous & very helpful. Spotlessly clean. For me the location is ideal. I will be back."

"Looks like it was once a grand plush hotel, room dated but large and clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbed, got a triple room for same as a double which turned out to be a bonus as we had seperate bedrooms,close to station and bars, cracking stay for a game at anfield."

"Clean room and bathroom , towels and sheets. Hot water. Hot water initially discoloured from sink tap but cleared. Apparently due to heating Room heater didn’t work Lift was broken when I stayed. Steep stairs and upper floor room ok for me , but impossible for any disability. Stairwell grubby."
