Hotel dekat The Palms

"Great"

"Parking tight as motel was full. Close to casino and town. TV options poor. Says SKY but very limited. Staff noisy around 7:30am. No consideration if you want a sleep in. "

"Everything was fine. We headed out in the morning without much fuss to begin our south island trip."

"Booked and paid for a spa studio, no spa in the unit received and no one to talk to as reception is not open or manned. Struggled to understand check in process and then the batteries of the door opener were flat so attempts to open our unit failed . Rang after hours bell and after 3 times with no answer the person assured me they would come and fit new batteries. We waited 4 hours and then left as he never came. Saw other travellers arrive and struggling with the same check in process"

"The cottage and surroundings felt like you were at a resort, not in the middle of the city. Cute little deck to have your morning coffee on. We had everything we needed in a rental. However, the decor and room overall were a bit dated, and the bed was too soft for us. The location was very convenient with cafes, restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Staff were very nice, and check-in was easy."

"Beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet."

"I booked the king executive and did get a beautiful spa room. The room was nice with parking in front. The bed was comfortable! Temperature and lighting and power were all very good. The bathroom was very modern and upscale. Laundry was handy (soap and washer) and only cost for drying. 2$ nz coin for 1 hour. A deal!! I needed an extra pillow and was looking forward to the advertised “pillow menu” which I have had with other lodge type rooms. This was not forthcoming but by repeated...

"Super clean and smells good, spacious and quiet, convenient and helpful, friendly staff, will book again."

"This is a very central motel. We ended up with an upgrade because of a problem with the plumbing. The room is serviced everyday, the lady that came everyday was very helpful and efficient. It had a whole kitchen to use with everything you need to make a meal. There are some things that need some maintenance. It is a small space between the sink, toilet and bathtub. The toilet roll holder is in an awkward place. The shower pressure was amazing. Fabulous using the heat pump on the cold...

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Appreciated having some kitchen facilities. Good price. About a 20 minute walk to the city centre and a short walk to a couple of restaurants and supermarket."

"Well maintained place and handy location walking to town. Highly recommend it."

"Wish it would have had A/C"

"Nice staff. Clean rooms. Perfect for a night out in chch."

"Spacious"

"Great location. Comfortable. Quiet, Hassle free. Easy on-site parking outside room. Friendly people."

"Clean, location is good and the Staff is helpful. The only downside was that there's no aircon in the room but when asked they provided us with a small electric fan."
