"We stay at this little motel pretty much every year when the Dodgers play against the Braves. It's a cute little property and even though the "Honeymoon Suite" is a little cheesy, it's where we stay. "Fantastic hotel, beautiful resort- like, high end aesthetic, with great service staff. J from concierge helped us get a rental vehicle for the last 2 days of our stay, and helped arrange for the rental car to be dropped off and picked up from the hotel - he made it really easy for us! Nice large pool, always had seating available. Complimentary coffee in the rooms and lobby in the mornings was also a huge benefit. "Rooms and the building in general are outdated and just kind of dirty (carpets). Mattresses are old and sink in. Some pillows were rock hard. Rooms and bathroom are spacious though. Nowhere to sit in lobby area if you’re down there waiting for a ride or waiting for your check in time. Surrounding area feels sketchy after dark (for a solo female traveler at least). But it’s about as close as you can get to Olvera and conveniently located for the metro."

"The LA Athletic Club just became my new favorite place to stay in Los Angeles. It has everything: an updated classic vibe, multiple dining options, fantastic fitness classes, and impressive gym amenities.
