"I loved the view of the ocean! If you stay here you must request the ocean view on floors 2 or 3! I enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the ocean! The board walk is busy with people so you will get the occasional noise or the lady who decided to sing with her karaoke machine(not so great). You get free breakfast, nothing to write home about but it was eatable(meh).The best thing is the waffles, but couldn't have it(glutten free). The staff were amazing! The parking was secure! I highly recommend...

"the location was excellent and close to beach, so didnt have to use vehicle at all. we had good parking just outside room. We require a kitchen but a microwave would have been nice to have. Overall, the romm room was sufficient for being a 100 feet from the beach. "

"Very friendly staff! So grateful they were flexible with check-in as my flight got delayed. Big kitchen; bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Note that there is only one bathroom (shower included, so it's not possible to have one person shower while another uses the bathroom) for the dorm of 14 people. I never had an issue conflicting with anybody, but just know that there's only one bathroom. There are 2 sinks outside the bathroom, though."

"The beds are not very comfortable. The food at barefoot could be much MUCH better especially for the price. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Pool was wonderful. The ability for food to be delivered to the pool was cool. I wish the poolside drinks were available in the afternoon."

"This is our favorite resort in San Diego, we return every visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful, property is beautiful with ponds, waterfalls, koi, birds and ducks. We love the location, on the bay and close to the beach. The property is a private oasis in the midst of the busy beach area. We enjoy the pool and arcade as well."
