"I was disappointed to find out after I left that my credit card was charged. I called to complain and the reply I got was “this is the Historical Preservation Fee plus tax, which is $34.79 USD per night”.
I should have been told about this charge by the front desk when I was registering. I might have elected to move to an other hotel."
"We absolutely loved Pier House! The staff was wonderful, the outside bar and the Chart room were our favorite hang outs, and the private beach was absolutely amazing! The beds are not super comfortable and the walls are quite thin, so we did hear our loud neighbors one night, but I still give this place 5 stars, and we will definitely be staying there again!"
