"My review is based on how the staff would not work with me. When I arrived at CDG I was total by French Officails that my U.S. passport was reported "stolen" and thus "in valid" even through it was in my hand. The French authorities would not accept my Gloabl Entry and U.S. Passport cards. I was forbidden to enter France and detained for 20 hours and placed on the next available flight home escorted bt armed officers. I can understand being billed for the first night, but to not work with me...

"The hotel is extremely well located. Though the rooms are on the small side, which is expected for Paris, it is in a very charming neighborhood. It’s about a 20 min metro ride to all of the major attractions, walking distance to the Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, Pigalle. I absolutely loved the location. I travelled solo and this hotel will definitely be on my list of fave hotels in Paris."

"Modern and chic hotel. The tiny room was compensated with comfy bed and duvet cover, shower with good water pressure, Japanese style toilet etc. The lady at reception was sincere and helpful. She even gave ice pack for my sister who had back problems during our stay - great service. If you don’t mind small room, you should stay here - the hotel good the other decent quality stuffs"

"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I’ve stayed at several different properties around Paris over the years, and this was by far the nicest experience I’ve had. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the showers were excellent. The workout room is small but perfectly adequate, and the breakfast, especially in the outdoor dining area, was a fantastic way to start each morning. I would absolutely stay here again."

"A fabulous, stylish hotel to stay in - super location and rooms very comfortable with character and style. Very welcoming. Beautiful staircase winding up to rooms. Great to have a small balcony to sit out on. If less mobile be careful if staying in heat of summer. The lift did not operate in high heat so as we were travelling light this was not such an issue ie not much luggage. But check with the hotel to book lower floor rooms if you struggle with stairs. "We had a comfortable stay at the hotel des batignolles. The rooms are on the small size but ok for a couple of nights. Rooms are very clean, staff at reception are helpful and the breakfast was very tasty"

"We were really surprised by this hotel. The room was quite luxurious and large. The linens and whatnot were first rate and quite comfortable. The location was great with a couple of blocks walk between 3 different metro stations. Although it was located across the street from railroad tracks, we never really heard any noise. The neighborhoods around the hotel were great for exploring. We would definitely stay here again."

"Really nice front desk, but 3 concerns. 1.) I came 1 hour after their check in time and they still didn’t have the room ready. Very annoying after a long travel day. 2.) The same cleaning person came in 3x while I was sleeping (within the same hour), waking me up each time 3.) The pillowcase had a large stain on it so the cleanliness was questionable. "I would not recommend this hotel as the main issue was the hot water. Frankly, it should not even be a hotel if they can not provide hot enough water for showers everyday.
