"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. "First time we stayed at double tree Stayed as a family two adult and two children Nice atmosphere Nice lobby and common areas Rooms are to a good standard Staff are lovely During our dinner the dinner party sitting next to us the child had an asthma attack in the restaurant, it was a pleasure to see all the staff provide immediate assistant to the table, bringing water, some ice cream for the young child after he calmed down, the restaurant team also alerted reception who also checked on the guest, it was a real pleasure to see how empathetic the team reacted to a guest in need even the young. Doubletree by Hilton would be our first choice in the future Thank you for a lovely stay "

"We stayed here for one night when we went to the theatre. The hotel being only a stone thrown from the theatre and town centre made it a great choice. All areas of hotel were clean as was our room. We were very happy with our pre theatre meal and buffet Breakfast. All staff were helpful and we will certainly stay at The Old Hall again."
