"This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. "

"A nice modern hotel. Clean and comfortable on a main road that will allow you to travel out to a bunch of different riding and hiking spots conveniently. Staff were friendly and as mentioned it was lovely and clean. Only recommendation would be to bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and you happen to be in a room looking out on to the road. The windows are thick but seemingly not enough to block out noise from passing vehicles. "

"I was welcomed to the property, shown to my room by a friendly and helpful lady. She explained about the shower, tea and coffee making, and how to access the property using the fob. There was also a written guide in the room. The problem I encountered was the small spotlights were flickering which made reading or knitting difficult so the first night I lay on the floor by the bathroom door to read as these lights did not flicker. "The overall stay was excellent value, I was well looked after. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was the highlight, spot on and super tasty. One of the best stays I have ever had in the UK other than those over £300 per night (not often) and this was a third of that price. "

"A very enjoyable stay in a dated hotel. We were in a lovely clean and spacious room with a very good en-suite bathroom with a good bath and shower too. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast. We will definitely stay there again when we’re In Cheshire."

"Very impressed with The Manor. Super quiet location although in the centre of town. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was delivered prompt (8-9am) with plenty to choose from. We only met the owner/manager who was very attentive and friendly. He also had lots of suggestions of things to do whilst visiting the area. Overall, it was good value for money and we’d stay again if back in the area."
