The tavern was closed and we usually like a place that has a bar and restaurant after a long day driving, so definitely disappointed. We went next door to Tully’s for an affordable dinner, drinks, and excellent service. Highly recommend even though the front desk gentleman said he wouldn’t recommend. "This property was great! We are already talking about going back during the summer. The highlight of our trip was the lake beach. Our kids enjoyed it, as we were lucky to have very nice weather in April. They got to play in the shallow end! The property itself is very clean, modern, and cozy. The property owner was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay! We had a great, relaxing getaway and didn’t want to leave. We hope to return soon! "

"We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. Upon arriving it felt a bit run down overall. We entered our room on the second floor of the carriage house. It was small but quaint and what we needed. "Walked in and actually felt at home with the knick knacks on the counter and people having casual conversations with the receptionist and they let me leave my trailer parked locked up perfectly in front of cameras that they showed me would be the safest spot while I ran errands the next morning! Perfect place to stay and can't recommend enough!"
