We were very disappointed with our experience at Superior Shores. Upon arrival around after midnight we walked in to find nobody at the front desk. This was moments after being harassed for a ride by a random drunk from the bar across the street (he also was able to walk in to the hotel and wander around as the doors were open with no one monitoring them). When we finally got to our rooms I was shocked and horrified to find someone had used the toilet in my room and let it unflushed. I told the front desk and they asked me what I wanted them to do. I asked for another cleaning the next day as I was too tired for anything else (there was no evidence of the cleaning next day). I also went out for a smoke later in the evening, after 2 am, and all the doors were still open to the public. In the morning, the breakfast was awful, clearly had been sitting for hours. The only good thing was the coffee in the lobby. We immediately started looking for a new hotel and the staff were not that impressed with us for leaving early as they were short and rather unhelpful about it all. Do not be fooled by the pictures as this place was not at all as it appears.
