"This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Hyatt Place in Virginia Beach and yet again we were so impressed with this hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by the General Manager herself, Lisa Centeno, who was so warm and welcoming and provided us with useful information to make our kids’ beach trip even better. The rest of the staff were just as wonderful, and we were always greeted by a smiling face anywhere that we went. The elevators here are fast, and our room was so clean and comfortable. I barely heard any outside noise when we were in the room, which in turn gave us comfort given that our two wild boys can be hard to keep quiet, and we didn’t fear we were disturbing other guests. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the beach and ocean, and it was so nice to sit out there in the evenings and unwind. I really appreciated that the hotel itself is just steps from the beach, so we didn’t have to lug our stuff very far while also trying to wrangle the children. The breakfast here is delicious and they offer a wide variety of food (our youngest boy is allergic to eggs and peanuts, so this was important to us). Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel and can’t thank the staff here for making our stay that much more special!"
