"Clean easy nice staff"

"Had to change rooms twice. Both rooms were filthy. Dirt all over the floor and counters. It looked like someone cleaned the fridge and microwave with fur instead of a rag. Horrible place and the guy at the front desk although understanding seemed like he’d rather be playing on his phone than to help me. "

"We were assigned from 314. My son was in 312. We turned off our nightlight and turned it back on and lost all the power on 1/2 of the room the night Desk person had no clue how to handle things and was extreme in his gestures when he got frustrated. Eventually, after about 45 minutes, he moved us to room 310. My son was in 312 and they had trash and other items all over the room like it hadn’t been cleaned. We were definitely displeased with our stay and disappointed as we usually can rely on the La Quinta name. Checking out we mentioned the electrical issue to the front desk staff and there was no note made of it anywhere by the previous night staff. It’s concerning that there’s an electrical issue that was not investigated and that could be a extreme safety issue."

"Absolutely perfect! Room exceptionally clean. All important kitchen utensils and pans were provided. Staff exceptionally friendly. I want to give a special thanks for older black male gentlemen who was the cleaning staff. He was so friendly, exceptionally kind. He was respectful and great at providing "

"The hotel was okay. The room was relatively clean except it smelled like an old dog and mirrors and tv were dirty but this is a theme at this hotel. The windows in the dining area are FILTHY with children’s hand and mouth prints. I reported it to the 3 staff members idling at the desk the first day. The windows were never washed. The door exiting by the elevators had dirty windows. The coffee area was never cleanly maintained. I used hot water for tea and napkins to wash the counter myself before I made coffee. The washer/dryers are antiquated and strongly smell of mildew. The overall feel to this hotel is that it needs an overhaul. This being said - I have stayed in MUCH worse hotels in VB/Norfolk and I’ve stayed at the ocean front. I chose this hotel for the convenience of it having a shuttle to the airport which the driver never picked me up. I was told by staff that it’s a “courtesy”. Whatever that’s supposed to mean. If I set my pick up for 5:30 and you’ve left me at my hotel at 5:30 - you haven’t provided the service you say you provide at the hotel. Thankfully my husband was able to get me to the airport for my early morning flight!! Would I recommend staying here to others. I’m not sure because I know this is the typical hotel for the demographic of the area. Would I stay here again? I’m not sure. "

"Room was clean and had recently been renovated. It was well lit in through ways and on steps. The check in kiosk although novel left me feeling detached when speaking to the attendant. I really didn't like it. It just felt too impersonal. The staff were kind and more than willing to help. The area is loaded with eating and shopping opportunities so that is a real plus. All in all for the money and location its worth the stay in a pinch."
