"I arrived Thursday night and was given an upstairs room. The front desk explained that because I checked in late at 11 PM, early arrivals got first pick, which was understandable. However, the room had a strange smell. I requested a move to a first-floor room, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. This second room smelled much better.
The pool area was clean and quiet, and the location is great—very close to Legoland, Walmart, plenty of places to eat, and a church.
The only downside was that on our second night, someone attempted to open our room door. It scared my family very much, only for the person to say, 'Oh, this room is already taken!' When I brought it up, I didn't feel any empathy or real concern from the hotel staff. Also, skip the breakfast.
Overall, I would still recommend this place for the money, distance, and time we actually spent here."
