"The house was amazing, especially with the lovely gallery of unique paintings by Colin Maclaren and marvellous views of the lake plus great for stargazing. However the house definitely needs some cleaning, the fridge is in an unclean state and the oven emitts a lot of smoke when we tried to use it, also the fireplace when we tried to start a fire. "We absolutely loved this little house! We could see Lake Tekapo from the front porch and we grilled out and had dinner outside there one night. The place is super comfy clean and perfectly appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A short walk or drive into town brought you to shops a grocery and restaurants. The location was great and quiet and safe. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
