However the house definitely needs some cleaning, the fridge is in an unclean state and the oven emitts a lot of smoke when we tried to use it, also the fireplace when we tried to start a fire. "I’ll start with a positive, it’s a beautiful house with breathtaking views and if it wasn’t for the lack of attention to detail it would be worth the cost. It was very disappointing it wasn’t equipped with basic items I.e toilet paper, spray and wipe, dishwashing liquid, fire wood that actually fit into the fireplace. "We absolutely loved this little house! We could see Lake Tekapo from the front porch and we grilled out and had dinner outside there one night. The place is super comfy clean and perfectly appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A short walk or drive into town brought you to shops a grocery and restaurants. The location was great and quiet and safe. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
