"Terrible Staff. I arrived at the hotel around 3pm
Front desk informed me that my room was to be ready @ 4pm.
Which is totally understandable. I did arrive early.
I came back to the hotel at 4.
And still they claimed the room was not ready. 4pm is check in time.
Front desk said “We will call you on your phone once it is ready Sir”.
They never bothered to call me back, I called the customer service line and they hung up. lol.
I’m not the type to be rude or cause a scene.
But I did press them by 6pm to get my room ready. It was disheartening because I sat for 2 hours in the lobby watching others check in to their rooms with ease as they arrived.
My room was delayed until 6:45pm.
I was late for a dinner reservation because of this. This was my first experience in New Orleans.
It was Mardi Gras weekend, and I understand that things happen especially during a holiday season like that.
But it was the unprofessionalism of how the staff treated me.
Not once did they show empathy or try to offer any concessions.
You will be able to see all the action in the French Quarter right from your hotel room window.
The location is perfect, the building is historical.
And other than the rude front desk staff. It was overall a good place to stay."
