La Casa sul Mare

Civitavecchia

10/10 Excellent

Loris and Ambra, are the most perfect hosts, welcoming us into their beautiful accommodation with such grace and care. Loris helped get our bags up some steps and into the elevator. The balcony room was immaculate with a very modern shower room. Air con and the prettiest balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Breakfast was lovely and we met some of the other guests at breakfast who were also on our cruise.Loris organised a car to take us to the port in the morning and waited with us till it...

Museum Guest House

Civitavecchia

10/10 Excellent

This guest house is definitely one we would recommend. The owner, Francesco, made us feel very welcome and gave us a small gift upon arrival. We were shown the room which was spotless and told about the breakfast arrangements. There were drinks in the fridge which were included as well as water. A basket of biscuits and pastries, yoghurts, juice and tea and coffee made for a satisfactory breakfast. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and in doing so Francesco gave us a token to have a...

Convento dei Cappuccini

Tolfa

Property was absolutely perfect and so so beautiful. It was a converted convent which my history loving boyfriend absolutely adored! Every little thing that you could need was thought of, there was so many quiet places to sit and read a book and we enjoyed walking around and exploring the local town and meeting the local cats! Marta was a wonderful host and even helped us to arrange a taxi the next morning to take us to the port for our cruise. Absolutely wonderful find and I’m so pleased we...

Excellent service.. arranged a driver to meet us from the airport. Great check in. Really empathetic to our elderly mothers needs.. ie requested a room on ground level. Gave us useful information to use locally. Continental breakfast.. perfectly adequate.. although there is a McDonald’s across the road. Arranged transport to the ships side. Highly recommend this simple apartment type accommodation.. central to everything. Well done.

Great location. Very central and near to the port. Anna was particularly helpful and friendly. Little difficult to find due google maps not recognising the location, but Anna solved it by sharing her live location. Yes it has a separate bathroom but it’s not really an issue as it’s allocated to the room and has a lock and key. One tiny criticism snacks in room not really suited to breakfast before leaving. Perhaps look at some alternatives, but just a suggestion. Really comfortable and a great...
