"Horrible hotel, everything was way below any standard. I should stay at the hotel for 2 night stayed only for 1. In lobby people are smoking there was ashtray full of cigarettes and ashes, in elevator I found cigarettes too. Stains on towels ugh I wish I never booked this hotel."

"The Buddha Zen Hotel in Chengdu is a rare find. It’s a wonderful yet inexpensive hotel in a lovely and lively part of the city, near the Wenshu Monastery. The rooms are a good size — mine even had a balcony — with good air conditioning and the ability to open windows. It is really quiet at night, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was good, with both Chinese and Western food choices. In addition, the hotel is pretty and has a lot of charm. Another plus is that the staff is super nice and helpful. My 25-year-old daughter and I stayed here five nights, and we really loved this hotel."

"The room is clean and spacious. Nice river and city view. It has a good size fridge and a galley kitchen. It's within close proximity of the city attractions around CNY¥ 15-20 Didi car hailing service. There's a Maan Coffee shop on 1st floor facing the river offer western menu. 24 hours 7/11 convenient store next to it."

"We had a great view from our upgraded room in the high rise tower. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was pretty central. I like that they provide a laundry room with free machines, but there are only two washers and two dryers for the whole building, so plan ahead!"
