"I cannot say enough about the staff at DeCamondo! Every person we met was LOVELY and exceptionally helpful. The location is outstanding and surrounded by plenty of eating and shopping options. The Metro is very close, Galata Tower and Galata bridge are only a 10 minute walk. We will definitely be back to Istanbul…it is a magical city full of beautiful people, food and culture."

"Great hotel, great location, great amenities Only issue was the ritz Carlton driver on the way to the airport tried overcharging by an extra 500 lira even though it was a fixed fair. He backed down after some argument but not a nice look on the ritz Carlton to allow this type of behaviour "

"Very clean and good location, near bus and metro and taksim square. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Spend 8 nights there with out issues"

"Room was very spacious, and ultra clean! A/C worked well, and it was very easy to maintain a perfect room temperature. Never met a staff member who wasn't smiling. Morning breakfast buffet was an abundance of riches! (I won't dare tell how much weight I gained!) Highly recommend this hotel."

"The exterior and entrance are beautiful, but that is where the 5-star experience ends. The rooms are nice, yet the windows were extremely dirty and the view was terrible. Breakfast was a major disappointment, more like a 3-star level: industrial quality pastries, undercooked muffins, and poor savory options. Surprisingly, the Ibis near the Istanbul Fair offers better quality and choice for a fifth of the price. The SPA lacks a whirlpool, and the sauna and hammam are mediocre for this category. Furthermore, the noise from the rooftop restaurant was deafening until 1:00 AM, even on the 7th floor. I do not recommend this hotel as there are much better 4 and 5-star options nearby for a lower or similar price. Don't be fooled by the magnificent facade."

"Les gens à l'accueil sont très sympathiques.. notamment Nesrin. Par contre les chambres commencent à montrer de l'âge (couvre pieds usé, calfeutrage obsolètes, etc). Les douches sont très très sales et bouchées. J'ai eu deux chambres et ce n'est donc pas un cas isolé. Il y a beaucoup de moisissures aux joints. La TV à un seul canal, aucune chaise ni bureau pour travailler. Un mince comptoir avec un ottoman c'est tout. Sinon la localisation est parfaite, le prix est raisonnable."

"We had a room with a small terrace opening to the pool, which was still in the process of being opened. Staff generally were helpful and attentive, with the exception of the lobby bar where it was always a struggle to get someone to serve. Housekeeping and room service were excellent"
