Cambridge Suites Toronto
5/5 Excellent
Overall good, but careful with glitches and terms.
"I think overall the experience is good, the location is perfect, close to all major famous sites, close to public transportation (subways, street cars, etc), the big open area at the entrance is easy for Uber/Lyft drivers to get in and pick you up. Room size is spacious for a family, free water provided, rooms are clean.
The only down side is that I believe I booked the room with 3 adults (that's why I specifically booked a room with a sofa bed), but once I finished the booking, I was told by the front desk that the system shows only two adults are listed as guests and I need to pay extra for the 3rd guest. Come on, why didn't I book a standard room with an extra bed? I can save much on base room fee and I need to pay for extra anyway, it was not clear during the booking and unfortunately no changes allowed after the reservation.
I think in US, in most cases the front desk doesn't care unless you are trying to fit too many people in a room. But if this booking is not a system glitch, then this hotel really tries to drain as much money as possible from your pocket, a downside of this trip.
But overall, not bad."
