"Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels). The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!! I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…"

"A lovely hotel with delicious food and a beautiful, peaceful setting. You should stay here. We stayed in a little stone cottage separate from the hotel an easy 5-minute walk up the hill. It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. "Das Zimmer war sehr klein, es war relativ sauber, wirkte aber durch den schlechten Wartungszustand nicht so. Wir hatten eine Elektrobox im Zimmer welche die ganze Zeit Geräusche von sich gab, die Decke sah so aus als hätte es mal einen Wasserrohrbruch gegeben und von der Wand im Bad löste sich die Tapete. Der Preis war dafür aber im Vergleich mit anderen Unterkünften wirklich gut und das Frühstück lecker. Für 1 Nacht war es okay."
