"The property, with parking on the driveway, is opposite the lovely Central Park and an easy walk down to the Hoe. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a good breakfast. The “Narnia” en-suite was ingenious. The beds were comfortable and the room, despite being on the front of the property, was quiet."

There is a fridge and a microwave in the room which proved useful and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was pristine with a walk in shower. "Car park nearby free after 6pm.Attractive building on the outside, entrance straight into rather beery bar and games area. Untidy bar top serves as reception. Route to rooms through function room ( fortunately only a small dance class took place on the night of our stay). No separate dining area so chose not to eat there. Very limited food option in Modbury. Room itself clean, tidy, and quite comfortable. Fairly constant through traffic for light sleepers, but ear plugs supplied in room....
