"This is a good property for people who’ve already been to Jamaica and know how to navigate the island. The staff were great and the rooms were clean. This is a basic place to stay. If you need excursions assistance or a lot of amenities, this is not the place for you."

"My stay at Sand and Tan was okay overall. I would like to commend the young bartender (whose name I unfortunately did not get) and the two ladies who worked in the evenings. They were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed that a young man who appeared to be part of the maintenance team repeatedly approached me asking for tips, which made me uncomfortable. "Old smelly rooms , they forget to clean the room even when I mentioned and requested, not even trying to accommodate you for their bad service , room dirty when you arrive with web in ceiling , floor not swiped and mop, no towels , mattress are like 15 years old you slip on the iron , furniture so old you have funky smell , not hot water in middle of night , they seem to lock the water heater , the only nice thing they have is the view , nothing else beside that"
