"We recently stayed at The Millerton Inn and overall had a really lovely experience. The room itself was incredible, beautifully designed, comfortable, and exactly the relaxing getaway we were hoping for. The ambience throughout the inn is stunning, and the dining area especially felt warm, cozy, and inviting. We would absolutely love to come back. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because the breakfast was very misleading compared to how it’s advertised online. The description mentions locally sourced, freshly baked pastries and goods, fresh fruit, and fresh coffee. We were not expecting a full hot breakfast, as that is not what’s advertised, but we were definitely expecting something fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, when we went downstairs in the morning, we were disappointed to find prepackaged loaves of bread that appeared old, a few apples, and a Keurig instead of fresh brewed coffee. After such a wonderful night’s stay and walking into such a beautiful, relaxing breakfast space, it felt very underwhelming and did not match the experience or expectations set by the hotel’s description. That said, the stay itself was truly wonderful, and with a more accurate breakfast description or an improved offering, this easily would have been a five-star experience."

"I reserved a queen size room, bright with a lot of room, couch and table, writing desk , real pretty! When we opened the door there was a bed two very small chairs no place to put a suitcase no floor space ! One little window no ac, the room was on the 3th floor ! Bathroom was very small. I realize it is a very old in and did not expect everything to be perfect, but this was far from it ! It was a room for a maid or a distant relative you want to get rid of ! Unfortunately we had a family emergency and couldn’t stay, that’s when the staff stepped up and was very nice and courteous and gave us a refund. If we had stayed it would not have been in that room, I was very disappointed had looked forward to the stay there for a long time , but we couldn’t not have gotten a new room every room was booked !"

"The staff was amazing. For me it was in a good location for a home base to make day trips around the area. Your room was clean and the hotel was in a safe area."

"This property is in need of some upgrades. Hallway carpets were very worn. Rooms were clean but again showing signs of age. Breakfast was substandard with eggs and sausage being ice cold each morning."
