"Inn is perfectly situated within the walls of Caernarfon Castle, convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff are uniformly friendly and welcoming. My room (#34) was in an old building but had been completely modernized inside, including the bathroom. Room was immaculate and had plenty of well-located electrical outlets. "Everything about the B&B was fantastic. It is a beautifull place in a very pretty and peaceful location with outstanding accommodation and delicious breakfast. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful or more friendly. They made us feel very welcome. There is a pub with good food and real ale 5 minutes walk and another one 10 minutes away with an excellent carvery. We will visit again! "

"Had a fantastic stay at The Slate. Staff are excellent and very handy having the restaurant and bar downstairs after a long day travelling. Note that rooms are on first floor up a staircase, no lift. Well appointed and cosy room with modern bathroom amenities. Would definitely stay again."
