"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

"We were in town for a concert. Venue was 1.5 miles away. Hotel was clean, great staff, plenty of free parking and convenient snack purchase availability. Two social areas with TV's and bar available. Great to watch Final game of NBA and cheer along with complete strangers!!"

"Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage."

"Needed a place close to airport to stay the night. The quirky style isn't usually my thing but I found the rooms to be very well designed. The room was spotless and quiet. I will definitely look at Tru by Hilton for future stays. My one negative was the breakfast. The cold assortment had a good selection but I was looking for a hot meal. The eggs were extremely salty. And whoever thought EZ Bake Oven style pancake and waffle machines could make food with love...hmmm... toughest pancake ever....

"Very nice hotel, staff was pleasant. However, when asked for extra pillow was advised that only maintenance had access. I think the front desk clerk was the only person on duty. Which I Found that kind of strange that there was no one else available since the hotel was very busy."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and had a big couch and a desk. But the bed was much too firm and the carpet looked dingy. The lighting was too dim, even in the bathroom sink area. Breakfast was better than some other chain hotels, but we missed it on our last day because they had only told us the hours for the weekend, and breakfast ends earlier on weekdays."

"Due to closing of 65, I needed a place to stay close to UofL for my son's orientation. We've never stayed in this area. But it was super close and easy. Small hotel, but quiet and convenient. It's by the airport, so expect air traffic noise, but otherwise perfect stay."

"The room and kitchen were adequate. It's honestly what you would expect from a 2-star hotel. The bathroom was not clean; hair in the bathtub, what looked like some kind of black mold on the shower curtain and the tub drained super slowly (standing water while in the shower/tub). Decided to just not shower during our stay, but my husband's aunt said we would say something, so we did on the second day of our stay.
