"The hotel was good but the room we has was 2 flights up with 2 very heavy fire doors. It was very hot with only a small window to a flat roof that didn't open more than 3 inches. No phone in room to communicate with reception. Nothing in the immediate area outside the hotel other than a 10 minute? very steep hill to port isaac. There was nowhere to sit and relax out of the heat other than the bar."

"It's a breath of fresh air to travel to accomodation and arrive early and to be offered afternoon tea whilst waiting for our room to be available. Jenny the host was an absolute breath of fresh air and nothing was too much for her to accommodate us. Easy parking, stunning grounds with a lovely stream running through it.
