"Everything about our stay was excellent, but the best part by far was Tyler, the innkeeper. Kind, attentive, excellent communication and an amazing chef. We loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning, sharing delicious food and stories of our respective adventures in the redwoods. "This is a basic hotel with minimal accommodations. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was noisy with upstairs neighbors and side neighbors yelling and stomping around. I did not feel exceptionally safe here and was glad to find my car unbothered in the morning. Pretty sure some sketchy things were going on a couple doors down. I found ants crawling over my things in the AM and went to report this to the hotel staff (so they could spray for the next person) and and I...

"Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process."

"No frills and needs to be renovated, but clean and things worked as they should. Breakfast was good too. Staff helpful."

"This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii."
