"For the money spent on our room it was a slap in the face to be told we could not use the refrigerator without paying a $25.00 extra fee!! We could get a refrigerator for free with any Super 8 hotel……. Also shower did not drain & leaked out of the shower which made the whole marble bathroom floor slippery & dangerous. Will never stay there again!!"

"Room itself was clean and bed/ pillows were comfrtable. But the bathroom not so much. Dried up piss on the back of the toilet, counters felt dusty and shower had a bunch of hair. As in someone just washed their dog... It was just my kid and I, came up to watch a Sox game, and that stuff dont scare us though lol for 100 bucks and good location, would stay again."

"The hotel is very pretty and charming and in an amazing location along the waterfront. I was really looking forward to staying here. However, to my disappointment, I didn't have a great experience. There seems to be little soundproofing between floors. There was a lot of commotion above me to the point that I thought they were remodeling. But, what made my experience just bad was that sometime between 3-3:30am I was awoken out of a sound sleep to large banging that literally shook the walls of my room to the point that I called the front desk. However my room phone didn't work and had to use my cell phone. The night desk attendant was very kind and I appreciated that he looked into it. It's a mystery what it was. Early in the morning, I could hear running foot steps above me. Just strange for a large hotel to have this issue. While the late night front desk attendant was excellent, the reason I gave the 3 star for staff was the check-in attendant that I had wasn't friendly or welcoming. He just waved me over. If I didn't initiate the greeting, I'm not sure he would have said hello to me. He didn't tell me anything about the hotel, amenities, restaurant, etc. The other attendant that was helping a couple check-in was telling them all kinds of things and seemed super friendly. It's a beautiful hotel and I don't really understand why the hotel has the issues that I experienced. When I checked out, the attendant was friendly, however she didn't ask how my stay was, so here it is."

"Great location -- could easily walk to all the local Cambridge places we were going to! Very close to the Harvard outdoor sports complexes (which was why we're visiting--a men's lax game)! The staff was all very helpful, kind, and super prompt with all requests! Zero complaints. Will absolutely stay here when visiting again."
