"We stayed at El Patio 77 twice on our trip - to and from Oaxaca. It was a beautiful stay both times. The staff and the decor are fabulous. We actually preferred our room with the shared bath. The one in the room didn't have a door. So we just used the one in the hall. Even though we have been married 26 years, we prefer doing certain things in private. 😀"

"Staff is friendly even if they could not speak English. The building is old. Plumbing fixtures are old. Had a hard time figuring out how to get hot water in the bathroom. Television does not work. No signal. Internet connection is poor. No AC/heating. No elevator. I arrived at 2 am, tired, and had to drag my luggage up the stairs. The so-called breakfast was a disappointment. I had to go out to get a decent breakfast."
