"Location is off road, about 5 to 7 minutes from center. Definitely recoment to rent a car to explore the town and go to vicinity places (Bacalar 2 hour driving) The rooms need a little maintenance, but clean im general. The guess next door were really loud, some nights even until 3 AM. I will give another chance if i go back to Tulum."

"Here is a fair and honest opinion from someone who has visited Tulum and La Veleta neighbourhood on multiple occassions. For starters, I thought I was booking Central Park Tulum, not "Lagunas" but thats on me and something to double check, as online they look the same.
